Charles R. Neilson

Charles R. Neilson, 90, of Burton, OH, passed away peacefully Friday evening, July 31st, 2026, at Burton Health Care Residence. He was born in Holloway, OH on June 7th, 1936, to the late Robert and Goldie (Blake) Neilson. Charles is once again reunited with his loving wife, Eunice, who died in 2022.  

He was a proud retired US Army Veteran who served in Vietnam.

Charles will be missed by: his siblings, Mary (Jim) Mayle, Linda (George) Schoeppner, Robert (Jayne) Neilson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Eunice; brothers, Donnie Neilson, Covert Neilson, Victor Neilson, Bradley Neilson; and sisters, Elaine Bennington-Senften and Roberta Coberly.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 12 PM, SATURDAY, AUGUST 8TH, 2026 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH. Family and friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of the service.
