Cassandra L. Thomas

Cassandra “Cassie” L. Thomas, 30 years old and newborn son, Hudson Thomas, of Mesopotamia, OH, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, October 30th, 2024 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH. She was born in Warren, OH on April 29th, 1994 to Robert W. Thomas Jr. and Melissa (Carter) Feierabend.

Cassie enjoyed spending time with her 2 children, Alana and Carter, her partner Nick, and her 2 dogs, Rosie and Louie. Cassie’s greatest joy in life was making people happy. She loved her job at Solid Rock, where she was a caretaker to mentally handicapped adults. She called them her friends. Cassie also loved going to Mizu in Niles for sushi and Sunrise Inn in Warren for pizza and wings. Her laugh was contagious, she was the warmth of the sun in physical form. She didn’t know a stranger, everyone received love and kindness from her. 

She will be greatly missed by: her children, Alana and Carter Thomas; mother, Melissa (Carl) Feierabend; father, Robert W. (Ann) Thomas Jr.; siblings, Maggie (Austin) Georskey, Emily Clark, Jacob Thomas, Zoee Feierabend; grandparents, David L. and Cecilia Carter, Carrie and Alan Gause, Robert W. Thomas Sr., and Mary Thomas; her partner, Nick Hicks; nieces, Leah and Olivia Georskey; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by: her two sons, Oliver Thomas and Hudson Thomas; and aunt, Kelly Thomas-Sabau.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 7.00 P.M., MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH, 2024 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
