Carol Jean (Ehrhart) Mathias

Carol Jean Mathias (nee Ehrhart), 89, of Madison, OH, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 2nd, 2025 at the Lantern of Madison. She was born in Chicago, IL on September 15th, 1935 to the late George and Eleanor (Kittle) Ehrhart.   

Carol will be missed by: her daughter, Laura Mathias; son, Michael Mathias; grandson, Matthew Mathias; great-granddaughters, Ailyn and Kyla; brother, George Ehrhart; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert F. “Bobby” Mathias; and former husband, Robert D. Mathias.

Per Carol’s wishes, a private committal will be held at a later date in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, OH.
