Candace “Candy” D. Zeigler (nee Warne), 71, of Middlefield, OH, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, April 4th, 2024 at her home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Warren, OH on March 1st, 1953 to the late Earl Warne and Ronalda Hopkins. Candy later married the love of her life and best friend, Bill Zeigler on October 18th, 1986.
She worked at Kinetico in Newbury, Ohio for 29 years, many of which she had perfect attendance. Candy loved her family and friends both at home and also the ones she met wintering in Florida the past 9 years.
She was never unselfish and always put everyone else first. Candy was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 37 years, Bill; step-mother, Peggy Warne; son, Anthony Bitner; step-children, Brian (Christina) Zeigler and Devon Zeigler; grandchildren, Savannah (Danny) Bitner, Taylor (Trent) Mast, Melissa Zeigler, Tyler Zeigler, Mackenzie Bitner; the sparkle of her eye, great-granddaughter, Avery Spencer; and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her father.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 2 P.M., TUESDAY, APRIL 9TH, 2024 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Pastor Stephen Beatty officiating. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
