Bonita “Bonnie” Mae Swontek (nee Baptie), 71, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday morning, March 27th, 2021. She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on November 22nd, 1949 to the late Kenneth J. and Berniece (Soltis) Baptie. Bonnie is once again reunited with her loving husband of 42 years Gary L. Bonnie loved dancing with Gary, traveling, cooking, and sleepovers with her sisters. But her FAVORITE was spending time with her beautiful and blessed grandchildren. And, if anyone had a baby over the last 30 years, you can be sure she sent one of her famous crocheted blankets.
Bonnie will be greatly missed by: her children, Jennifer (Geoff) Berman, Jon (Keli Rulong) Swontek, Stefanie Swontek; grandchildren, Paul K. Swontek-Whitaker, Alec Swontek, Brooke Swontek, J.R. Swontek, Syrus Swontek, Mario Romangi, Veronica Romangi; sisters, Diana Adams, Deborah (Herbert) Schreiber, Cynthia (Mike) Derifield; and many friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, and husband, Gary.
