Bonnie Lynn (Lucas) Maynard

Bonnie Lynn Maynard (nee Lucas), 75, of Garrettsville, OH, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 14th, 2025 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. She was born in Cleveland, OH on February 6th, 1950 to the late Frank and Laverne (Gross) Lucas. Bonnie later married her best friend and love of her life, Jacob Maynard on March 3rd, 1973.

Bonnie’s favorite destination was Walt Disney World in Florida. She brought creativity into all areas of her life, particularly through crafting and quilting. She enjoyed socializing at local senior centers and was known for making new friends wherever she went.

Bonnie will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 52 years, Jacob, daughters, Miranda (Jack) Whipkey, Coreen (Frank) DeCaro, Robin (Brian) Pavlic; grandchildren, J.J. Whipkey, Noah Whipkey, Cassandra Whipkey, Marceline Whipkey, Dario (Alaina) DeCaro, Dominick DeCaro, Riley Maynard, Micah Morris, Lily Morris, Elisabeth Morris, Deano DeCaro, Coraline Pavlic; 2 great-granchildren; and many friends.  

She is preceded in death by: her parents; son, Brad Maynard; daughter, Stacey Maynard; and grandson, Tyler Whipkey.
