Bill E. Byler, 72, of Mesopotamia Twp, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, December 19th, 2024 at his home. He was born in Middlefield, OH on October 28th, 1952 to the late Ervin W. and Jemima (Miller) Byler. Bill is once again reunited with his loving wife, Nancy Mae (Detweiler) Byler, who died January 30th, 2022. He was a member of the Old Order Amish and Bishop of the Laird Road Church District.
He will be missed by: his loving children, Laura (Noah) Fisher, Kathryn (Noah Jr.) Yutzy, Raymond (Wilma) Byler, Billy (Laura) Byler, Robert Byler, Esther (David) Burkholder, Nancy Mae (Daniel) Miller, Cora (Joseph) Detweiler; 52 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Bill is preceded in death by: his parents and wife, Nancy Mae.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 A.M., SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22ND, 2024 AT 9141 LAIRD RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Minister Reuben M. Troyer officiating. Pallbearers will be Raymond M. Miller, Marvin J. Bricker, Ervin D. Miller, and Dan J. Byler. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 9060 Laird Rd., Mesopotamia. Bill’s final resting place will be in Wilcox Road Cemetery, Mesopotamia, OH.
