Betty L. DeLong (nee Adkins), 84, of Windsor, passed away peacefully Saturday night, March 7th, 2021 at her home. She was born in Paintsville, KY on December 13th, 1936 to the late Wallace and Gladys Adkins. Betty is once again reunited with her loving husband of 67 years, Clifford DeLong, who April 20th, 2020
She was very faithful in her beliefs as a member of Faith Community Church in Rock Creek. Betty previously taught Sunday school for many years the Chardon Assembly of God Church. Betty also loved taking care of her family as well as crocheting, gardening, and being outside.
Betty will be greatly missed by: her loving son, Laymon (Marion Seagraves) DeLong; brother, Bobby Adkins; sisters, Helen (James) Combs, Marylin Robbins, Carolyn Ellis; and many friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Clifford DeLong; sons, Michael DeLong and Steve DeLong; brothers, James Adkins, Holbert Adkins, Jackie Adkins, Carluss Adkins; and sister, Delores Campbell.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11:00 A.M., FRIDAY MARCH 12TH, 2021 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Pastor Steve Maugh officiating. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Betty’s final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Chesterland, OH.
