Barbara Ann (Miller) Byler

Barbara Ann Byler (nee Miller), 84 years old, of Nelson Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, January 28th, 2025 at her home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Middlefield, Ohio on August 20th, 1940 to the late Andy D.C. and Katie (Shetler) Miller. Barbara is once again reunited with her loving husband, Urie Byler, who died May 18th, 2021. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be missed by: her children, Aden (Esther) Byler, Kathryn (Allen Ray) Miller, Urie (Susan) Byler Jr., Andy (Erma) Byler, Nathaniel (Ruth) Byler, Enoch (Katie) Byler, John Henry (Edna Mae) Byler,   Susan (Chester) Weaver, Melvin (Susan) Byler, Linda (Robert) Byler, Barbara Ann (Larry Jr.) Yoder; 92 grandchildren; 261 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Barbara is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Urie; 2 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; and 1 sister.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, FRIDAY, JANUARY 31ST, 2025 AT 8976 ELY RD., GARRETTSVILLE, OH with Bishop Ken W. Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Detweiler, James Bender, Larry Miller, Andrew Hostetler, Joe Troyer, and Robbie Fisher. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 8998 Ely Rd., Garrettsville. Barbara’s final resting place will be in Detweiler Cemetery, Nelson Twp, Ohio.
