Arlin Ronald Becker, 87, of Middlefield, OH, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, August 27th, 2024 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, OH. He was born at home on April 27th, 1937 in Manawa, WI to the late William and Fronie (Hoffman) Becker.
He graduated from Little Wolf High School in 1955. Arlin served as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army from 1956 to 1958. Arlin was a licensed cheesemaker by trade for Borden in New London, WI before responding to a Cheese Reporter advisement for a cheesemaker position at Middlefield Swiss Cheese in 1966, where he worked until retirement in 2002.
Arlin enjoyed spending time with his family and was involved with his children as a Scout Leader and Middlefield Little League baseball coach.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 65 years, Clara, whom he married on April 4th, 1959; sons, Jeffrey Becker, Jay (Susan) Becker, Scott (Beckey) Becker; daughters, Pamela (Steve) Coffman, Becky (Brian) Kelly; and sisters, Aurelia Baker of New York and Valeria (Carl) Bork of Wisconsin.
Arlin is preceded in death by: his daughter, Barbie; parents, William and Fronie; brother, Lyle; and sisters, Lorraine and Geraldine.
A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 A.M., THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2024 AT ST. EDWARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16150 CENTER ST., PARKMAN, OH 44080 with Father Jacob Bearer officiating.
