Anna “Ann” Marie Strumbly (Stockwell), 60, of Parkman, OH, passed away peacefully at her home while surrounded by her family Sunday morning, July 11th, 2021. She was born in Cleveland, OH on February 5th, 1961 to the late Leon David and Helen Rose (Mincek) Stockwell. Ann later married Mark Strumbly on September 25th, 1981.
Ann graduated from Baldwin Wallace with an Associates of Finance.
Ann’s hobbies included gardening, horseback riding, taking motorcycle trips with her husband Mark, cooking, and spending time on the Tare Creek bike trail. During all of the motorcycle trips and traveling to see her friends and family; there was not a stranger to be found because of her outgoing, happy personality. Her family always said that “Ann could talk the leg off a wooden statue.” Throughout life and battling cancer, Ann always embraced “living the dream”.
One of Ann’s favorite past times was Friday night date night. There was never a Friday that she missed where she was not with her husband, kids, and friends that joined her in making memories.
Ann will be dearly missed by: her loving husband of nearly 40 years, Mark; son, Brian Strumbly; daughters, Jessica Strumbly and Kate (David) Prokop; brother, Leon D. (Ellen) Stockwell Jr.; sister, Donna (Mike) Morrison; and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Helen Stockwell.
To honor Ann with a final Friday night date night, A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD FROM 5:00 – 10:00 P.M., July 30th, 2021 AT THE CROSSROADS BAR & GRILLE, 4887 STATE ROUTE 305 SOUTHINGTON, OH 44470.
