Angela K. (Swift) Scharf

Angela K. Scharf (nee Swift), 78, of Claridon Twp, OH, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, May 5th, 2025 at her home. She was born in Cleveland, OH on August 12th, 1946 to the late Herschel and Angela (Klag) Swift. Angela later married her best friend and the love of her life, Norm E. Scharf on April 25th, 1970.

Angela was a very devout woman and a longtime parishioner of St Lucy’s where she volunteered much of her time. She enjoyed gardening, traveling but most of all her family and friends. Angela loved having large family gatherings and hosting friends and prayer group. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Angela will be greatly missed by: her loving husband of 55 years, Norm; children, Shannon (Bryan) Mullins, Stacy Scharf, Norm J. (Brittani) Scharf, Shirley (Fred) Weisenseel; grandchildren, Edward and Angeline Weisenseel, an unborn grandson; brother, Robert (Diane) Swift; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents. 

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD AT 12:30 PM, FRIDAY, MAY 9TH AT ST. LUCY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16280 EAST HIGH ST., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062 with Father Jacob Bearer officiating. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Best Funeral Home, 15809 Madison Rd., Middlefield, OH 44062. Angela’s final resting place will be in Claridon Center Cemetery, Claridon Twp, Ohio.
