Andrew J. Byler

Andrew “Andy” J. Byler, 77, of Middlefield, OH passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, July 30th, 2022 at Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, OH. He was born in Atlantic, PA on September 22nd, 1944 to the late Jacob A. and Emma (Byler) Byler. Andy later married Barbara Ann Miller on April 25th, 1968. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and Bishop of the Middlefield Amish Church District.  

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Ann; children, Kathy Byler, Laura (Noah) Troyer, Mark (Nancy) Byler, Andrew Byler, Susan (Marlin) Miller; son-in-law, Marty Byler; 31 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Andy was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Marie Byler; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., TUESDAY, AUGUST 2ND, 2022 AT 15368 S. STATE RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop David Mast officiating. Pallbearers will be David Hershberger, Andrew Hershberger, Daniel Weaver Jr., and James Gingerich. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Andy’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
