Obituary
Andrew D. Detweiler, 77, of West Farmington, OH passed away peacefully Thursday evening, May 4th, 2023 at home and surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Middlefield, OH on May 18th, 1945 to the late David R. and Leah (Mullet) Detweiler. Andrew later married the love of his life and best friends, Barbara Miller September 23rd, 1965. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He will be missed by: his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara; children, Martin (Ruth) Detweiler, Sara (Marvin) Troyer, Melvin (Susan) Detweiler, Mary (David) Byler, Leah (Daniel) Miller, Andrew Detweiler Jr., Barbara (Myron) Miller, David Detweiler; 34 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 7 brothers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Andrew is preceded in death by: his parents; son, Joseph Detweiler; 1 brother; 2 sisters; and 1 grandchild.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 A.M., SUNDAY, MAY 7TH, 2023 AT 4545 LARSON WEST RD., WEST FARMINGTON, OH with Bishop Joseph Detweiler officiating. Pallbearers will be Ray Hershberger, Joe Byler, Albert Weaver, and Al Byler. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Andrew’s final resting place will be in Clark Road Cemetery, West Farmington, OH.
