Allen J. Yoder

Allen J. Yoder, 61 years old, of Middlefield Twp, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, August 15th, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic while surrounded by his family. He was born in North Madison, Ohio on August 5th, 1965, to Jonas S. and Martha (Slabaugh) Yoder. Allen later married his best friend and love of his life, Saloma Miller on December 12th, 1985. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 40 years, Saloma; children, Allen (Sarah) Yoder Jr., Wayne (Ada) Yoder, Lester (Laura) Yoder, Samuel (Linda) Yoder, Lucinda (Bill) Byler, Rosanna (James) Hershberger; father, Jonas S. Yoder; 27 grandchildren; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; mother-in-law, Saloma (Byler) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Allen is preceded in death by: his mother, Martha; father-in-law, Levi; and 1 grandchild.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, TUESDAY, AUGUST 18TH, 2026 AT 17370 NEWCOMB RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Joseph J. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Marty Troyer, Marvin Troyer, Steven Kurtz, and Martin Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 17360 Newcomb Rd., Middlefield. Allen’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, Ohio.
