Allan J. Wrana, 81, of Garfield Heights, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Holy Family Hospice in Parma. He was born in Cleveland on August 22, 1939 to the late Leo & Cecilia (Jburzynski) Wrana. Allan is also now reunited & dancing with his wife, Emma who died in 1995 & his sister, Linda who passed in 1985.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran who worked for the City of Cleveland as a building inspector for many years until his retirement.
Allan was a brilliant man with a presence like no other! He loved to share his limitless knowledge with all that loved & knew him & anyone that came in his presence.
Allan loved to read & had a zest for fine foods. He loved gardening, cooking, golfing, sharing his gift of knowledge (especially in history) & loved music & dancing, particularly Polkas.
He will be greatly missed by his: nieces, Michele (Matt), Tammy (Vince) and Vicky (Spencer); step-son, David; great-nieces and nephews, Amanda (John), Austin (Bri), Chelsey (Austin), Cody (Phylyn), Samantha (Pat) & Shawn; great-great nephews and niece, Kaden, Kennedy, and Baby Weston; and many cousins, step-grandchildren, and friends.
A GRAVESIDE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 11 AM, THURSDAY, AUGUST 26TH, 2021 AT BROOKLYN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, 4700 BROADVIEW RD., CLEVELAND, OH 44109 with Joyce Benesh officiating.
