Albert J. Hummel Obituary

Albert J. Hummel, 69 of Middlefield Twp, OH, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 23rd, 2021 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Chardon, OH on December 15th, 1952 to the late Robert Lee and Betty Grace (Thompson) Hummel.

He graduated from Cardinal High School in 1972 and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Following his time in the military, Albert began working as a truck driver.

Albert enjoyed playing and singing in the local Miller Creek band. He also enjoyed being outdoors, going for rides on his bicycle, and spending time with his friends.

He was one of the kindest and most caring person one could ever meet and will be missed and never forgotten.

Albert will be greatly missed by: his son, Jeremy (Misty) Hummel; grandchildren, Melody (Noah) Gandy, Maddy (Logan) Tack; great-grandchildren, Misty and Shawn; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy Hummel.

Per Albert’s wishes, no services are to be held at this time.
