William “Bill” A. Mooney, 65, of Williamsfield, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, May 8th, 2019 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Warren. Bill was born in Cleveland, OH on March 7th, 1954 to William J. and Lois J. (Cuckow) Mooney. He later married Lavonne “Bonnie” Smith on February 9th, 1974.
He worked as a butcher and co-owned Mooney Meat Packing in Williamsfield for over 20 years. Bill was a strong Christian man who enjoyed being the lead Usher at The Sanctuary in Middlefield. He also liked being outdoors hunting and fishing. However, his greatest love was spending time with Bonnie, his daughters, and grandchildren.
Bill will be dearly missed by: his loving wife of 45 years, Bonnie; mother, Lois; daughters, Tammy (Jeremy) Ellsworth, Tabitha (Adam) Chambers; grandchildren, Tiffany, Lindsay, Stephany, Cody, Collin; brothers, Ed (Brenda) Mooney; Pat Mooney, Tom (Tina) Mooney, Dan (Loretta) Mooney; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his father, William J.; and sister, Lovina “Vi” Rearick.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 5 P.M., SATURDAY, MAY 18th, 2019 AT THE PYMATUMING COMMUNITY CHURCH, 6459 STATE ROUTE 7, ANDOVER, OH 44003 with Bishop Steve Mickels officiating.
