William A. Byler, 76, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, November 13th, 2019 at home while surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Madison, OH on October 19th, 1943 to the late Adam D. and Barbara (Stutzman) Byler. William married Etta J. Weaver on June 18th, 1964. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He will be dearly missed by: his loving wife of 55 years, Etta; children, Jonas (Kathy) Byler, Barbara (Lester) Miller, Minnie (Bill) Detweiler, Daniel (Sadie) Byler, Raymond (Erma) Byler, Samuel (Ruth) Byler, Esther (Crist) Miller, Lydiann Byler; 47 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 4 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
William is preceded in death by: his parents; son, Billy Byler; 1 grandchild; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH, 2019 AT 17701 NAUVOO RD., MIDDLEFIELD TWP, with Bishop Dan P. Hostetler officiating. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. William's final resting place will be in the Nauvoo Road Cemetery, Middlefield Twp, OH.
