Vernon L. Hershberger

Vernon L. Hershberger, 52, of Burton Twp, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, May 22nd, 2019 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH. He was born in Claridon Twp. on March 20th, 1967 to the late Levi J. and Saloma (Byler) Hershberger. He later married Susan J. Miller on June 16th, 1988. Vernon enjoyed farming and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 30 years, Susan; children, Laura (Lester) Yoder, Betty Ann (David) Miller, Wayne Hershberger, Nathaniel Hershberger; foster child, Rosa (Chester) Hershberger; 6 grandchildren; father-in-law, Josiah J. Miller; 3 brothers; 6 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Vernon is preceded in death by: his parents; mother-in-law, Anna Mary Miller; and 1 nephew.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., SUNDAY, MAY 26TH, 2019 AT 17570 TAVERN RD., BURTON, OH with Bishop Owen Yoder officiating. Pallbearers will be John Byler, Crist Yoder, Norman Yoder, and Eli Kauffman. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Vernon’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
