Sarah S. Byler (nee Schmucker), 87, of Parkman, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, October 13th, 2019 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. She was born in Parkman, OH on January 28th, 1932 to the late Jonas and Mary Ann (Miller) Schmucker. Sarah is once again reunited with her loving husband of 64 years, Dan C. Byler, who died March 7th, 2015. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be missed by: her children, Betty (Enos) Detweiler, Wally (Ann) Byler, Ray (Betty) Byler, Jonas (Sarah) Byler, Susan (Crist) Miller, Allen (Barbara) Byler, Chester (Barbara) Byler, Bill (Mary Ellen) Byler, Mary Ann (Noah) Byler, Barbara (Joas) Troyer, Marvin (Kristine) Byler, Robert (Linda) Byler, Elma (Erwin) Byler, Sarah (Kenny) Miller, Martha (Marvin) Yoder; daughter-in-law, Erma Byler; 142 grandchildren; 311 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sarah is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Dan; sons, Dan D. Byler and Crist D. Byler; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16TH, 2019 AT 16720 NEWCOMB RD., PARKMAN, OH with Bishop Wayne Weaver officiating. Pallbearers will be Samuel Weaver Jr, Marty Fisher, Joe Miller, and Robert Troyer. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Sarah’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
