Robert E. Rule Jr.

Robert E. Rule Jr., 67, of Orwell, OH, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, October 10th, 2018 at Eagle Pointe Skilled Nursing in Orwell. He was born in Wheeling, WV on December 22nd, 1950 to the late Robert E. and Ethel Eileen (Howard) Rule Jr.

He was a US Army Veteran who worked as an electrician. Robert spent 25 years at Ohio Rubber and then 13 years at T.R.W, both in Cleveland, until he retired. He loved being outdoors camping and fishing. Robert also cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Robert will be greatly missed by: his loving children, Robert “Bobby” Rule III, Kelly Marie Rule, Trina (Michael) Smith, Dylan Rule; grandchildren, Robert “Little Bob” Rule IV, Kailee Wilson, Justin Wilson, Blake Wilson; sister, Barbara; best friend, Richard (Kerrie) Cortright; and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A CELEBRATION WILL BE HELD FROM 2-4 P.M., SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14TH, 2018 AT THE FAMILY RESIDENCE, 4788 HYDE ROAD., ROME, OH 44085. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be sent for the family at funeral home address to assist with final expenses.
