Richard "Dick" H. Wheeler

Richard “Dick” H. Wheeler, 86, of Chardon, passed away peacefully at his home, Tuesday morning, February 26th, 2019. He was born in Cleveland, OH on September 19th, 1932, the son of the late Harry H. and Louise M. (Berghauser) Wheeler. Dick is once again reunited with his loving wife of 63 years, Carol, who died October 15th, 2018.

He was a proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.

Dick will be greatly missed by: his loving children, Richard M. Wheeler, Theresa Wheeler, Monica (Jeffrey) Dean, Michael Wheeler, Robert (Mary) Wheeler; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Tephenhardt, Carol Soster, Harry Wheeler; brother-in-law, Michael DiRosa; and many friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents, wife, Carol; son, Daniel Wheeler, and sister, Linda Wheeler.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 3 P.M., SATURDAY, MARCH 2ND, 2019 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062. Friends and family will be received on Friday, March 1st from 6-8 P.M. and on Saturday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.
