Ralph Duane Nellis Obituary

Ralph Duane Nellis Sr., 90, of Bristolville, OH, passed away peacefully at Signature Health Care in Warren, OH Thursday morning, July 5th, 2018. He was born in Flint, Michigan on December 17th, 1927 to the late Warren and Beulah (McGraw) Nellis. Ralph is now reunited with his loving wife, Olga, who died in March 2008.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who worked as a crane operator at Copperhead Steel in Champion before retiring after 30years. Ralph enjoyed bowling in the senior bowling league at Freeway Lanes for many years.

Ralph will be missed by: children, Diana Brown, Ralph Nellis Jr, Nioma (Gordon) Wildman, Yvonne Taylor, Eric (Sheri) Nellis, Daniel (Cheryl) Nellis; step-daughters, Diane (Paul) Capito, Karen (Richard) Ray; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth (Inez) Nellis, Richard (Wanda) Nellis, Wilma Stremel, Warren (Judy) Nellis; and many friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents; son, Edward Nellis; and sister, Wanda Cox.

A PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT MEADOW BROOK CEMETERY IN CHAMPION, OH.
