Patricia "Pat" M. (Bennett) Hein

Patricia “Pat” M. Hein (nee Bennett), 73, of Middlefield Twp, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, December 23rd, 2018 at Blossom Hill Health Care Residence while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cleveland, OH on January 1st, 1945 to the late Alfred T. and Frances L. (Armington) Bennett. Pat is once again reunited with her loving husband of 37 years, Gary H. Hein, who died January 4th, 2016.

She was an advisor and mentor of kids in the Geauga County 4-H for over 40 years. Pat loved working with horses and goats. She also enjoyed reading, collecting dolls, and gardening. Her greatest love however, was spending time with her children and grandchildren and her presence will be greatly missed.

Pat is survived by: children, Lori (Doug) Bachand, Jim (Celeste) Hein, Faron Hein, Jason (Emilee) Hein, Matthew (Kim) Hein; daughter-in-law, Sonja Hein; 20 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue (Roger) Mulhall; brother, Hal (Cindy) Krater; and many friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Gary; son, David Hein; step-daughter, Debbie Rounds; grandchildren, Christina and James Hein, and Tiffany Hart.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE AT 11:00 A.M., THURSDAY, DECEMBER 27TH, 2018 AT LIGHTHOUSE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 14780 MAYFIELD RD, EAST CLARIDON, OH 44033. Interment will follow in Claridon Center Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 26th, 2018 at Best Funeral Home, 15809 Madison Rd., Middlefield, OH 44062.
