Owen A. Byler

Owen A. Byler, 54, of Maumee, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, OH Tuesday evening, December 26th, 2017. He was born in Warren, OH on September 13th, 1963 to the late Andy C. and Barbara (Mast) Byler. Owen was a resident at the Sunshine Creating Community in Maumee, OH. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be greatly missed by: siblings, Mary Ann (Monroe) Kuhns of Garrettsville, OH, Edna Mae (Albert) Hershberger of Orwell, OH, Saloma Byler of Huntsburg, OH, Chris (Nancy) Byler of Garrettsville, OH, Mahlon (Sylvia) Byler of Ethan, South Dakota, Andy (Susan) Byler of New Cumberland, WV, Thomas (Linda) Byler of Carlton, PA, Robert (Barbara) Byler of Fremont, MI, Barbara Ann (Mose) Troyer of Mantua, OH, Samuel (Debbie) Byler of Peoria, AZ, Melvin (Mary) Byler of Pearisburg, VA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Owen is preceded in death by: his parents; and brothers, Lester, Erwin, and Joseph Byler.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 P.M., THURSDAY, DECEMBER 28TH, 2017, AT THE CARLTON COMMUNITY HOUSE, 33 OAK ST., CARLTON, PA 16311 with Bishop Andrew Hostetler officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Hershberger, William Hershberger, Monroe Kuhns Jr., Thomas Byler Jr., and David Troyer. Owen’s final resting place will be in the Carlton Street Amish Cemetery, Carlton, PA.
