Nancy Wengerd (nee Mast), 92, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, November 13th, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Parkman, OH on January 9th, 1926 to the late Jacob S. and Mattie C. (Detweiler) Mast. Nancy is once again reunited with her loving husband, Dan N. Wengerd, who died in June 2010. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be missed by: her loving children, Marvin (Lydiann) Wengerd, Martha (Raymond) Yoder, Betty (Joe) Shrock, Emma (Sam) Fisher, Edna (John) Mullet, Noah (Ada) Wengerd, Owen (Martha) Wengerd, Barbara Byler, Esther (Aden) Byler, Daniel (Wilma) Wengerd, Raymond (Susan) Wengerd, David (Saranne) Wengerd, Nancy (John) Gingerich, Allen (Sylvia) Wengerd; brother, Noah Mast; 107 grandchildren; 309 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Nancy is preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Dan N.; an infant daughter; 1 grandchild; 2 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Daniel Byler; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH, 2018 AT 16163 NEWCOMB RD, MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Pete Hostetler officiating. Pallbearers will be Roy Yoder, Dan Shrock, Mahlon Slabaugh, and Joe S. Miller. Nancy's final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery in Huntsburg Twp. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service.
