Margaret (Gelatko) Violi

Margaret Violi (nee Geltako), 91, of North Bloomfield, entered eternal rest Monday afternoon, November 13th, 2017 at Burton Healthcare Residence. She was born on October 27th, 1926 to the late John and Helen (Bucsko) Gelatko. Margaret is now reunited with her husband, Rocco Violi, who died in 1974, after 28 years of marriage.

She was a devoted mother who enjoyed raising her eight children. She also loved cooking, baking, making homemade play-doh, and especially bingo. Once her children were raised, Margaret attended Cuyahoga Community College and earned a Degree in Early Childhood Development. She then began teaching at daycares. Margaret always cherished her children and then later her grandchildren. She will dearly be missed.

Margaret leaves behind her children who mourn her loss:Carolyn Violi, Dominic Violi, John (Bonnie) Violi, Maria Sinegal, Margaret Mary Violi, Michael (Mary) Violi, Gregory (Marie) Violi, Rose (Mario) Noce; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Rocco; son-in-law, Tony Sinegal; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.

Family and friends will be received 4:00 - 8:00 P.M., Friday, November 17th, 2017 at Best Funeral Home, 15809 Madison Rd., Middlefield, OH 44062. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 A.M., SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH, 2017 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. Margaret's final resting place will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, OH.
