Lois Ann (Bender) Swink

Lois Ann Swink (nee Bender), 82, of Chardon, passed away peacefully at UH-Geauga Medical Center Tuesday morning, March 26th, 2019. She was born in Cleveland, OH on June 5th, 1936 to the late Anton and Helen (Kosch) Bender. Lois is once again reunited with her loving husband, Donald Swink Sr., who died on April 2nd, 2011.

She worked many years at a private school teaching reading to many kindergarteners and 1st graders. She enjoyed couponing, music, dancing, and singing in her church, the 1st Baptist Church of Chardon. Lois also loved the company of her beloved dog, Joey. But, her greatest love of all was spending time with her grandson, Tristan Rhys.

Lois will be dearly missed by: her children, Donald Swink Jr., Lynda Swink, Laura (John) Sokolowski; grandson, Tristan Rhys; brothers, Robert and Ronald; and many friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; loving husband, Donald Sr.; daughter, Lesley Ann Schuster; and sister, Dolores.

A GRAVESIDE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 A.M.., TUESDAY, APRIL 2ND, 2019 AT CHARDON MUNICIPAL CEMETERY, 201 PARK AVE., CHARDON, OH 44024.
