Leora "Lee" Mae (Hill) Stone

Leora "Lee" Stone , 82, of Burton, entered eternal rest Friday morning, November 17th, 2017 at her home. She was born in Chardon, OH on March 20th, 1935 to the late Clarence and Lillian (Hayek) Hill.

Lee was employed at Burton IGA grocery store at the age of 16 and worked there for many years. She also worked at the Western Reserve Store and The Burton Log Cabin. As a member of the Burton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, she organized and volunteered to work the annual spring pancake breakfasts for many years. Lee was the last remaining partner of the Lee-Ann Corporation that developed the 24 lots on Evergreen Dr. in Burton. She was also devoted mother and truly loved her two sons and family.

She leaves behind her sister, Rose Marie (Rosi) Hill Morris of Chagrin Falls; sons, Daniel (Linda) Stone of Burton, OH; David (Debra) Stone of Wickenburg, AZ; grandchildren, Mallori (Dino Bagnola) Stone, Mackenzie (Chelsey) Stone, Aaron Stone, Addison Stone; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL HELD FROM 1-4 PM, MONDAY, MAY 28TH, 2018 AT THE STONE’S HOUSE, 15470 CLARIDON-TROY RD., BURTON, OH 44021. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leora's memory are asked to be made to FirstLight HomeCare, 119 Main St., Chardon, OH 44024.
