Katie (Farmwald) Hostetler

Katie (Farmwald) Hostetler, 88, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, July 20th, 2019 at home while surrounded by her family. She was born May 24th, 1931 to the late Jake D. and Mary (Byler) Farmwald. Katie is once again reunited with her loving husband of 61 years, Andy J. Hostetler, who died November 12th, 2011. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She will be greatly missed by: her children John (Elizabeth) Hostetler, Lester (Emma) Hostetler, Dan (Betty) Hostetler, Mary (Crist) Miller, Andy (Laura) Hostetler, Melvin (Esther) Hostetler, Esther (Dan) Byler, David (Linda) Hostetler, Nancy (Robert) Fisher, Rudy (Laura) Hostetler, Martha (Andy) Byler; 74 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 244 great-grandchildren; sister, Esther (Farmwald) Byler; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Katie is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Andy; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., TUESDAY, JULY 23RD, 2019 AT 14759 HAYES RD, MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop John M. Burkholder officiating. Pallbearers will be Henry E. Mullet, Robert L. Mullet, Melvin A. Miller, and Daniel A. Miller. Katie's final resting place will be in Hayes Corner Cemetery in Middlefield, OH. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service.
