John E. Detweiler

John E. Detweiler, 59, of West Farmington, passed away peacefully Monday morning February 18th, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Parkman, OH on February 18th, 1960 to the late Eli J. and Malinda (Miller) Detweiler. John later married Elizabeth M. Mullet on December 10th, 1981. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 37 years, Elizabeth; children, Martha Mae (Bill) Mast, Allen (Betty) Detweiler, Jonathan (Amy) Detweiler, Joseph Detweiler, Barbara Detweiler; 8 grandchildren; 1 brother; 5 sisters; in-laws, Lester E. and Martha Mae (Miller) Mullet; step-mother, Ada Detweiler; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. John is preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 21ST, 2019 AT 5146 GIRDLE RD., WEST FARMINGTON, OH with Bishop Crist Miller Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Melburn Byler, Matt Troyer, Mathew M. Troyer, Robert Bontrager, Bill Hostetler, and Norman Miller. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. John's final resting place will be in Troyer Cemetery, West Farmington, OH.
