John B. Chandler, 66, of Burton, OH passed away at UH-Geauga Medical Center early Monday morning, March 4th, 2019. He was born in Chicago, IL on August 4th, 1952 to the late Gilbert and Gertrude (Barker) Chandler. John leaves behind his best friend and companion of 37 years, and wife of 23 years, Wyonda (Loudermill) Chandler.
He was a current lead man at Jemison Metals (formerly Dempsey Steel) in Cleveland, working there for the past 38 years. John enjoyed driving Amish around Geauga County.
John will be greatly missed by: his loving wife, Wyonda; children, Michael (fiancée Faith) Chandler, John Chandler Jr, Sheri Chandler, Jack (Sara) Cochran, Gregory (Linda) Cochran, Tina Cochran, Kristine (Dennis) Kanieski; 24 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 1 unborn great-grandchild; sister, Donna Oppenheimer; and many friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, and siblings, Karen and Ronie.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD FROM 2:00 – 7:00 P.M., SATURDAY, MARCH 9TH, 2019 AT THE MIDDLEFIELD SENIOR CENTER, 15820 RIDGEWOOD DRIVE, MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062.
