Gertie H. Kempf

Gertie H. Kempf, 55, of Ravenna, passed away Wednesday, August 29th, 2018 at her home. She was born in Middlefield, OH on October 15th, 1962 to late Henry J. and Mary M. (Leslein) Kempf.

She shared her time studying the Bible and being a Prayer Warrior. Gertie shared the word with everyone she came in contact with and attended Bethel Baptist Church, where she enjoyed being involved with the Abundant Life Club. She also tried to encourage love and kindness through phone calls and sending cards and notes.

Gertie will be missed by: sisters, Malinda Goldner, Martha Byler, Emma Coblentz, Fanny Lee, Elma Williams, Edina Kempf, Susan Castleberry, Barbara Kempf; brothers, Jacob Kempf, Elmer Kempf, John Kempf; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and one brother.

A GRAVESIDE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 12:00 P.M., THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH, 2018, AT CROWN HILL CEMETERY, 8592 DARROW ROAD, TWINSBURG, OH 44087.
