Esther (Miller) Fisher

Esther Fisher (nee Miller), 87, of Burton Twp, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, August 26th, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Middlefield, OH on April 12th, 1931 to the late John J. and Emma (Burkholder) Miller. Esther is now reunited with her loving husband of 55 years, Crist E. Fisher, who died November 21st, 2009. Esther was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She will be missed by: her children, Annie (Simon) Miller, Andy (Edna) Fisher, John (Fannie) Fisher, Sadie (William) Miller, Bill (Marie) Fisher, Raymond (Saloma) Fisher, Emma (Marvin) Kauffman; 33 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 5 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Esther is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Crist; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 29TH, 2018 AT 15390 NASH RD, BURTON, OH with Bishop Samuel J. Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be David Schmucker, Allen Yoder, Chester Hershberger, and Robert Hershberger. Esther’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery in Parkman Twp, OH. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service.
