Enos Barkman Sr.

Enos Barkman Sr., 94, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Friday morning, November 24th, 2017 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Mark Center, OH on September 24th, 1923 to the late Samuel P. and Lena (Plank) Barkman. Enos is now reunited with his loving wife, Lizzie (Schmucker) Barkman, who died in 2006. Enos, a member of the Old Order Amish Church, was an ordained Minister since 1954 of the Middlefield West Church District.

He will be missed by: his children, Samuel (Mary) Barkman, Leona Mae (Ervin) Miller, Barbara Ann (Eli) Burkholder Jr., Mary Ann (Melvin) Kurtz, Roman Barkman, David (Sarah) Barkman, Enos (Susan) Barkman Jr., Lena (Peter) Troyer; 39 grandchildren; 104 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Enos is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Lizzie; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27TH, 2017 AT 15539 GEORGIA RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Bill M. Byler officiating. Pallbearers will be Edward Miller, John Yoder, Roman Troyer Jr., Bob Hershberger, James Miller, and Erwin Slabaugh. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service at 15565 Georgia Rd., Middlefield. Enos' final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
