Emanuela "Lena" (Nicolosi) Leigh

Emanuela “Lena” Leigh, (nee Nicolosi), 80, a 48 years resident of Newbury, passed away peacefully Monday evening, July 23rd, 2018 at Burton Healthcare Residence. She was born in Cleveland, OH on April 30th, 1938 to the late Michael and Maria (Iannazzo) Nicolosi. Lena is now once again reunited with her loving husband of 48 years, Thomas, who died in February 2017.

She was a graduate of Holy Name High School and worked as a Bank Teller and Office Manager before her retirement. Lena, enjoyed ceramics, completing crossword puzzles, gardening, and traveling. She also loved spending time taking care of her great-nephews.

Lena will be missed by: her sister, Rita Nicolosi; niece Theresa (Steve) Gramuglia; other family members, and friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Thomas; brother, Leo Nicolosi; and sister, Mary Rini.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 12 P.M., SATURDAY, AUGUST 11TH, 2018 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062. Family and friends will be received from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
