Elizabeth J. Yoder (nee Weaver), 88, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, May 3rd, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Chardon, OH on August 9th, 1929 to the late John J. and Anna N. (Detweiler) Weaver. Elizabeth is once again reunited with her loving husband of 64 years, Freemon M. Yoder, who died August 31st, 2014. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be missed by: her children, Esther (John) Miller, Bill (Marie) Yoder, Emma (Melvin) Miller, Mervin (Loma Mae) Yoder, Freemon (Anna) Yoder Jr., Andy (Dorothy) Yoder; 50 grandchildren; 97 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Elizabeth is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Freemon; 1 stillborn son; 1 grandson; 1 great-grandson; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 A.M., SUNDAY, MAY 6TH, 2018 AT 17890 SWINE CREEK RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Minister Owen Mullet officiating. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service. Elizabeth’s final resting place will be in Bundysburg Road Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
