Edna Mae (Mast) Kuhns

Edna Mae Kuhns (nee Mast), 93, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully at her daughters Residence in Orwell, OH Wednesday night, May 2nd, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family. Edna Mae was born in Middlefield, OH on July 12th, 1924 to the late Dan J. and Laura (Miller) Mast. Edna is now reunited with her loving husband, Erwin H. Kuhns, who died November 27th, 2008. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She will be greatly missed by: her children, Esther (Dan) Detweiler, Mary Ellen (Lester) Byler, Fanny (Harvey) Byler, Edna Mae (Wilmer) Miller, Henry (Linda) Kuhns, Dan (Martha) Kuhns, Laura (Chester) Kurtz; daughter-in-law, Marcia Kuhns; 42 grandchildren; 117 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dan Mast Jr., Mahlon Mast, Allen (Emma) Mast; sisters, Esther Mast, Mary Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Edna is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Erwin; sons, Erwin Jr. and Lester Kuhns; granddaughter, Carolyn Kuhns; 3 brothers; 1 sister; 1 brother-in-law; and 2 sister-in-laws.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., SATURDAY, MAY 5TH, 2018 AT 17048 MADISON RD, MIDDLEFIELD, OH. Pallbearers will be Robert Miller, Paul Miller, Marty Fisher, and Eli Troyer. Visitation will be anytime until the time of the service. Edna’s final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman, OH.
