David John Rapinz

David J. Rapinz, 56, of Garrettsville, passed away after a brief illness Saturday afternoon, December 8th, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic. David was born June 26th, 1962 and became the adopted son of Henry and Eleanore (Harchar) Rapinz. He later married Martha Miller on June 6th, 2000. David was a licensed pilot and worked as a tax accountant for H&R Block in Middlefield for the past twenty years.

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 18 years, Martha; mother-in-law, Irene Miller; brother, Paul (Christine) Rapinz; sister, Julianne (David) Rapinz-Kesler; and many nephews and friends. David is preceded in death by: his parents; infant daughter, Amy Rapinz; and father-in-law, Jake Miller.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11TH, 2018 AT 10877 WINDHAM PARKMAN RD, GARRETTSVILLE, OH. Pallbearers will be Allen Miller, Albert Miller, Ray Burkholder, and Freeman Miller. David’s final resting place will be in Detweiler Cemetery in Nelson Twp. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service.
