Daniel "Dan" W. Sasala

Daniel “Dan” W. Sasala, 51, of Newbury, OH passed away peacefully at UH-Geauga Medical Center, Friday evening, December 14th, 2018. He was born in Claridon Twp, OH on April 24th, 1967 to Timothy and Marie (Campbell) Sasala.

He was a 1987 graduate of Berkshire High School. After high school, he proudly served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served in Operation Desert Storm. Dan worked as an electrician and loved playing his guitars. He performed locally for several years in the band called Liquid Cloud and even recorded a solo album. Dan was also enjoyed being a caricature artist and hanging out with his friends.

Dan will be greatly missed by: his mother, Marie; son, Nick Guynn; grandson, Dylan; sister, Chanon (Bob) Bortak; and many aunts, uncles, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and brother, Jerry Sasala.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 12 P.M., WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19TH, 2018 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD, MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062. Family and friends will be received from 11 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
