Dan Laforce Obituary

Dan A. Laforce, 80, of Burton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 7th, 2018, surrounded by family. He was born on December 27th, 1937 in Jonesville, VA to the late Elijah and Eppie (Bowen) Laforce. Dan greatly enjoyed golf, bowling, horseshoes, softball, gardening, and his beloved Cleveland Indians.

He will be greatly missed by his: daughters, Amy (Steve) Reinhart, Karen (Tony) Slak, Darleen (Nick) DeJesus; son, Darren (Siobhan) Laforce; grandchildren, Dan Reinhart, the late Mike Laforce (Heather), Beth Goodwill, Evan Reinhart, Troy Laforce, Matthew Reinhart, Alora Slak, Erica DeJesus, McCulloch Laforce, and Liam Laforce; 12 great-grandchildren; seven siblings; and many friends. Dan was preceded in death by his beloved wife Loretta (Saunders), parents, and seven siblings.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the UH Geauga Seidman's Cancer Center, 13207 Ravenna Road, Chardon, OH 44024.
