Angelo R. Maudet Obituary

Angelo R. Maudet, 66, of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, June 15th, 2019 at his daughter’s home in Rome Twp, OH. He was born in Nice, France on June 1st, 1953.

He was a loving, caring father and papa who enjoyed the “best of both worlds”. Angelo loved visiting Ohio to see his family, especially his granddaughter, Alex, who was his pride and joy. He also liked going 4-wheeling, camping, and riding snowmobiles. While living the leisure beach life in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he spent most of his time at the beach. Angelo lived life to the fullest and loved socializing, hosting gatherings with friends and family, and was always about the “good times”. He was also an avid soccer fan of the French National Team. Angelo will always be remembered by his common phrase, “Happy, Happy!”.

Angelo will be greatly missed by: daughters, Angie (Donald Jr.) Hunt, Melissa (Marlon) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Alexandria, Donny, Nick; brothers, Pat (Lisa) Maudet and Steven Moats; sister, Simone (Gary) Lee; nieces, Brittany (Cole) Peters and their son Finn, Linsey Lee; and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Denise and George Moats; and sister, Claudine Moats, and nephew, Brandon Lee.
