Simon J Yoder
Simon J. Yoder, age 81, of Huntsburg
Township, entered
into eternal rest peacefully early Monday morning, June 7, 2010, at his
residence. He was born Oct. 1, 1928, to Joe S. and Katie (Miller) Yoder.
Simon was a lifelong resident of Geauga
County and a member of the Old Order Amish
Church. He was also
a retired farmer and enjoyed reading. Simon is survived by his loving
wife of 59 years, Martha J. (Miller); six sons and seven daughters; 89
grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren; and three brothers and two
sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and five
sisters; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 9:30
a.m., Wednesday, June 9th, at Dan S. Yoder’s residence, 13070 Clay St., Middlefield, Ohio.
Bishop Jake S. Kauffman will officiate. Interment will follow at Miller Cemetery
in Middlefield
Township. Visitation
will be anytime until the morning of services at 12950 Clay St., Huntsburg Township, Ohio
