All of the services at Best Funeral Home are offered
at very affordable and competitive prices. The following is a list of
professional services from our general price list. These typically apply
to traditional services that include visitation and a funeral service.

The goods and services
shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you
desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a
charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other
requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask
for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide
describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
This list does not
include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you, such
as cemetery or crematory services, grave opening, flowers, and newspaper
notices. The prices for those items will be shown on your bill or the
statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
I. Funeral Service Packages
Package A: Traditional
Funeral Service with Burial
One
Day Visitation: $2,965.00
Two-Day
Visitation: $3,340.00
This package includes the Basic
Professional Services of funeral director and staff, transfer of deceased
to funeral home within a 30 mile radius, embalming, dressing, casketing,
and cosmetics, visitation, funeral service, funeral coach and driver. This service does not include
merchandise selected such as: a casket, vault, memorial register,
folders, or acknowledgement cards, paid obituaries, flowers or other cash
advance items.
Package B: Traditional
Funeral Service with Cremation
One
Day Visitation: $3,450.00
Two-Day
Visitation: $3,825.00
This package includes the Basic
Professional Services of funeral director and staff, transfer of deceased
to funeral home within a 30 mile radius, embalming, dressing, casketing,
and cosmetics, visitation, funeral service, funeral coach and driver. This service does not include
merchandise selected such as: an urn, urn vault, memorial register,
folders, or acknowledgement cards, paid obituaries, flowers or other cash
advance items.
Package C: Direct Cremation $1,295.00
The charge for direct cremation includes transfer of deceased to
funeral home within a 30 miles radius, local transportation to crematory,
necessary authorizations, basic services of Funeral Director and staff,
washing and disinfecting remains for purpose of identification, cremation
container, and crematory fees. This charge does not include the use of
facilities and staff for any visitation or ceremony, public or private,
prior to the cremation, or any merchandise selected such as: an urn, urn vault, memorial register, folders, or
acknowledgement cards, paid obituaries, flowers or other cash advance
items. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an
alternative container. Alternative
containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard
or composition materials. The containers we provide are corrugated
cardboard.
II. Itemized Price List
* Services
Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff $1150.00
Our fee for
professional services includes, but in not limited to, responding to
initial service request, arrangement conference, funeral arrangements,
preparing and filing necessary authorizations and permits, recording
vital statistics, preparing and placing obituary notices, coordinating
with clergy, cemetery, crematory, vault companies, and others as
required; staff assistance prior to, and following the funeral; and
facility overhead expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead
will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select.
This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations,
immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains. Licensed
personnel are on call seven days each week, 24 hours per day.
* Embalming
Except in certain
special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be
necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a
funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the
right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it,
such as direct cremation, or immediate burial.

*Forwarding of remains to

This charge includes the transfer of remains to the funeral home,
basic professional services of funeral director and staff, embalming,
necessary authorizations, and local transportation to the airport. This price does not include shipping
charges, visitation, rites, ceremonies, or the placement of paid
obituaries.
A. With

Our charges for receiving remains from
another funeral home include basic professional services of funeral
director and
staff, local transfer of remains to our funeral
home if necessary, and transportation of remains to cemetery.
This charge does
not include airfare, visitation, rites, ceremonies or the placement of
paid obituaries.
*Direct cremation
The charge for direct cremation includes

or composition materials. The containers we provide are corrugated
cardboard.

Our charges for an immediate burial without any attendant rites or
ceremonies include transfer of the deceased to the funeral home,
transportation to the cemetery, basic professional services of funeral
director and staff, and alternate care of remains. This charge does not include merchandise
such as a casket, vault, register, embalming, the placement of a paid
obituary, or the use of facilities and staff for any visitation or
ceremony, prior to burial.

Cash advance items include, but are not limited to, additional
vault and cemetery charges for weekends and holidays, paid obituary
notices, clergy honorariums, floral arrangements, musicians, medical
examiner’s fee, additional death certificates, and any other items
you may ask us to purchase for you.
