Shirley A. (Hruby) Penicka

Shirley A. Penicka (nee Hruby), 83, of Newbury, passed away peacefully at Burton Healthcare Thursday morning, January 11th, 2018. She was born in Cleveland, OH on May 1st, 1934 to the late Fred and Anna (Horadovsky) Hruby. Shirley is once again reunited with her loving husband, Otto Penicka Jr., who died December 3rd, 2001.

She retired after working 30 years as a Medical Assistant at various clinics. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons.

Shirley will be greatly missed by: sons, Otto (Sue) Penicka III of Willoughby, Richard Penicka of Newbury; grandsons, Ryan and Evan Penicka; and many friends. Per Shirley's request, a private scattering of her ashes will be held at a later date.
