Ruth E. Edge Obituary

Ruth E. Edge (nee Holscott) 97, of Burton, passed away peacefully at Burton Health Care Residence, Thursday morning, March 22nd, 2018. She was born in Cleveland, OH on October 26th, 1920 to the late Gus and Rose Holscott.

She lived most of her life in Geauga County. Ruth loved being independent and living on her own. She liked doing yard work and maintaining her home. Ruth was also an avid Cleveland Cavaliers fan. She also liked playing bingo and doing crossword and word search puzzles.

Ruth will be missed by: dearest friends, Bill and Diane Spencer and their children, Chrystal (Brian) Yoder and Bill (Amy) Spencer Jr.. She is also survived by Bill Spencer’s step-father, Melvin Cruthers. Ruth is preceded in death by her best friend, Wavell Spencer-Cruthers.
