Richard E. "Chief" Murray Jr.

Richard E. “Chief” Murray Jr., 73, of Middlefield, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, March 29th, 2018. He was born in Painesville, OH on November 27th, 1944 to the late Richard E. and Margaret (Sokoly) Murray Sr. Richard later married Eileen Wollet on March 17th 2004 in Warren, OH.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Richard spent many years installing and maintaining computers and medical laser used in surgeries. He also liked being outdoors going for walks and fishing. After retiring, Richard enjoyed being an Amish Taxi Driver.

Richard will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 14 years, Eileen; sons, Richard S. (Tabatha) Murray, David (Jo) Murray; step-son, Chris (Amy) Wollet; granddaughter, Eternity Murray; step-granddaughter, Kaia Wollet; great-granddaughter, Lilyian Laughlin; 1st wife, Pat Tackett; his companion cats; dog, Dixie; and many friends.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD FROM 4-6 PM, SATURDAY, APRIL 14th, 2018 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062.
