Paul "Bud" L. Walker Jr.

Paul "Bud" L. Walker Jr., 73, of West Farmington, passed away peacefully at home Thursday morning, September 21st, 2017. He was born in Warren, OH on March 4th, 1944 to the late Paul L. and Mildred (Mathews) Walker Sr. Paul married Doreen Sloan on November 4th, 1973.

He proudly served as an Aviation Ordnance Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Paul was a flight crew member with Patrol Squadron FORTY-SIX and also stationed on the aircraft carrier, USS Oriskany (CVA-34) for 4 years.

After the Navy, Paul was briefly a Police Officer for the Village of Middlefield. He then worked 25 years as a Field Service Engineer for HPM in Mt. Gilead, OH. Paul continued working as the owner/operator of a computer store called "Intelligent Data Equipment" for 5 years prior to his retirement.

Paul will be greatly missed by: his wife of nearly 44 years, Doreen; daughter, Nadine R. Walker; son, Timothy P. (Page) Walker; grandchildren, Paul, Maggie, Charles; siblings, Rellajeanne (Ray) Cook, Dawn (Dana) Srbinovich, Glenn (Jackie) Walker; and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 3:00 P.M., SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2017 AT THE WEST FARMINGTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 220 COLLEGE ST, WEST FARMINGTON, OH 44491. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of service.
