Kenneth G. Utz

Kenneth “Ken” G. Utz, 57, of Huntsburg, passed away unexpectedly at UHHS-Geauga Medical Center Monday evening, April 2nd, 2018. He was born in Claridon, OH on June 23rd, 1960 to Fredric and Doris (Brebeck) Utz. Ken married Patricia “Pat” Trask on September 10th, 1988.

He worked his way up at Ronyak Paving in Burton over the past 25 years and most recently was a crew Foreman. Ken was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #18. He loved to watch old Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western Movies, and tv shows like Daniel Boone, The Rifleman, Combat, and Davey Crocket. Ken also enjoyed baking desserts, including his specialties, chocolate chip cookies, apple crisp, and yellow “chocolate” cake. Ken’s greatest love though was spending time with his wife Pat and raising their three sons.

Ken will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 30 years, Pat; mother, Doris Wiebusch; sons, Daniel (Paige) Utz, Matthew Utz, Josh Utz; brothers, Gregory (Vinnie) Utz, David Utz, Ronald (Tammy) Utz; half-sisters, Corrine and Sarah; father and mother in-law, Bill and Elaine Trask; many brother and sister in-laws; and many, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and step-father, Jeffrey Wiebusch.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD FROM 2-5 P.M., SUNDAY, APRIL 15TH, 2018 AT THE HUNTSBURG COMMUNITY CENTER, 12406 MADISON RD., HUNTSBURG, OH 44046.
